Fire Sunday morning damaged two adjacent structures in Long Beach, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 1:16 a.m. to the 700 block of East 5th. Street knocked down a fire at one building that extended into the interior of an apartment building, according to Long Beach Fire Department Capt. Jake Heflin.
No injuries were reported, and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
