A man was struck and killed by at least two vehicles while trying to maneuver around traffic on the Hollywood (101) Freeway near Echo Park, authorities said Sunday.
The crash occurred about 11:05 p.m. Saturday on the southbound freeway at North Vermont Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A representative from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to the location at 11:56 p.m.
The fatality crash may have also triggered a separate two-vehicle crash. It was not known whether there were any injuries from that second crash.
No other details were available.
