First lady Jill Biden is traveling to Southern California this weekend for a series of fundraisers and appearances, including a fundraiser in the Inland Empire.
Biden is scheduled to arrive at Hollywood Burbank Airport on Friday afternoon and attend a political fundraiser in an undisclosed location in Los Angeles at 5 p.m.
She is scheduled to arrive at Palm Springs International Airport on Saturday and speak at a fundraiser at an undisclosed location at around midday. The event is being hosted by James Costos, former U.S. ambassador to Spain under the Obama administration, and his partner Michael Smith, who own a home in Rancho Mirage.
According to KESQ3, the guest list includes Barry Manilow and former California Sen. Barbara Boxer.
Biden will then return to Los Angeles to speak at the Human Rights Campaign’s 2024 Dinner at 7 p.m. Saturday, and will attend an event in Los Angeles as part of the White House initiative on Women’s Health Research on Monday.
