A small plane crashed Sunday in El Cajon, injuring one person.
The crash near Gillespie Field happened around 6:20 p.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Lily Avenue, according to the Heartland Fire Department.
Fire officials told ABC10 News that the plane reportedly had engine problems and clipped power lines as it descended.
One person suffered injuries and was hospitalized after the crash, the station reported.
Residents were asked by the fire department to avoid the area.
