A fire that started Saturday in the garage of a Thousand Palms house spread into the attic area before firefighters put it out.
The fire was reported at 6:33 p.m. Saturday in the 31000 block of Via Ventana, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The garage was well-involved in flames when firefighters arrived, officials said.
The fire was out at 7:19 p.m. with no injuries reported.
