Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department were battling a 450-acre brush fire with no containment east of Corona Sunday.

The fire was reported just after 2 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Cajalco and Eagle Canyon Roads. The fire grew to 75 acres within an hour, and before 7 p.m., it had grown to 450 acres, according to KCAL 5.

No injuries or evacuations were reported.

Multiple air and ground resources were assigned.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
