A fire that broke out in a strip mall in Laguna Niguel Sunday was caused by an electrical failure, authorities said.

The fire started shortly before 7 a.m., according to the Orange County Fire Authority, which did not provide an exact location. It was knocked down in 10 minutes and no injuries were reported, the department said.

The cause of the fire was said to be an unspecified electrical failure in a power strip supplying electricity to a towel warmer in a back storage room.
