Businesswoman and reality TV personality Kim Kardashian is seeking a restraining order against a man she claims previously broke into actress Emma Roberts’ house and more recently made his way to Kardashian’s Malibu estate.
Kardashian filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court Monday seeking the order against Melvin Jeffery Conley. A hearing date was tentatively set for Aug. 30, according to court records.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Kardashian claims in her petition that Roberts — with whom Kardashian recently co-starred in “American Horror Story: Delicate” — contacted her recently to warn her about Conley, who allegedly broke into Roberts’ house in May. Conley allegedly used Roberts’ land-line phone to call the actress’ cell phone, and when he spoke to the actress, he told her about his desire to make contact with Kardashian and her children, TMZ reported.
The next day, Conley allegedly showed up at the home of Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, claiming he had an appointment with Kardashian, according to TMZ. Conley then showed up at Kardashian’s Malibu home last month, where he was stopped by security at a perimeter fence, TMZ reported, citing the court papers.
According to TMZ, Roberts has already obtained a five-year restraining order against Conley.
