Fire Sunday morning demolished an outbuilding behind a single-story home in Riverside, authorities said.

Firefighters dispatched at 3:06 a.m. to 5482 Bushnell Ave. had the fire under control at 3:26 a.m., the Riverside Fire Department reported.

“The property owner was on scene and explained he used the building to store and work on large model airplanes,” according to a news statement. “The building and it’s contents were a total loss. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.”
