Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department battled a 10-acre brush fire Saturday in Nuevo.
The fire was reported at 4 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Minton and Juniper Flats Roads, where firefighters found it burning at a moderate rate of spread.
No injuries, evacuations or road closures were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
