At least one person was killed Saturday evening on the Escondido (215) Freeway in Menifee.
The crash was reported at 8:37 p.m. Saturday on the southbound 215 north of Scott Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP confirmed the crash was fatal, but further details were not immediately available.
