A bus and a car were involved in a crash in Whitewater Monday that shut down multiple lanes of Interstate 10.
The collision occurred at 3 p.m. in Whitewater near exit 110, according to California Highway Patrol records, blocking the No. 1 and No. 2 eastbound lanes.
In the aftermath of the traffic incident, a reporting party in a separate vehicle told an officer that one vehicle “went across lanes” and ended up in a field, according to CHP records.
No injuries were immediately reported.
