A person was hoisted to paramedics Wednesday after an inaccessible rescue on a trail in Palm Springs.
The incident was reported about 3 p.m. Wednesday one mile from the Palm Springs Station trail, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
It was unclear what caused the person to need aid. The hiker complained of undisclosed minor pain.
