In an effort to help families impacted by the Eaton Fire, the L.A. County Department of Parks and Recreation Monday launched its Care Camps, providing participants with various activities and trips to local museums.
Participants will be able to enjoy music, arts and crafts, and sports activities, as well as trips to the L.A. County Natural History Museum, La Brea Tar Pits, Dodger Stadium, among other places. The department will also provide breakfast, snacks and lunch daily.
Teens will also get supper, according to the Department of Parks and Recreation.
Youth Care Camps for children ages 5 to 12 will begin from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while camps for teens ages 13 to 17 will begin from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
County officials will host these Care Camps until the end of the month, Jan. 31.
