Firefighters were sent to the Madison Square Shopping Plaza in Riverside Sunday, where several business were experiencing flickering lights and alarm panels sounding off, authorities said.
The problem was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of Madison Street, according to the Riverside Fire Department.
Battalion Chief Chuck Tasker said several businesses were “in trouble mode,” and that there were no fires or injuries reported in the structures.
Public utility workers were requested to assist at the scene.
No further information was immediately available.
