A single-story residence caught fire in Thermal this week, but firefighters were able to put it out and no injuries were reported.
The fire was reported at 12:12 p.m. Friday in the 88000 block of Avenue 77, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
After dousing the fire, crews remained at the scene for approximately three hours for mop-up work.
The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
