Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department battled a residential fire in Perris Sunday.
The fire was reported just before 3 p.m. Sunday in the 17200 block of Owl Tree Drive where firefighters found an active fire in the second story of the house.
They contained the fire to a small spot of debris burning inside the home. Crews expected to remain on the scene for about 30 minutes to assist with smoke removal.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
