A 72-year-old man was reported missing after being last seen Wednesday in Long Beach, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.
Thomas Reed was last seen near the intersection of East Seventh Street and Navy Way around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reed was described as a 5-foot-10-inch tall man weighing 180 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt, blue jeans, and utilizing a silver walker.
Anyone with information regarding Reed’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
