An 88-year-old man and his 76-year-old wife, who were reported missing earlier Thursday from Palm Desert, which prompted the issuance of a Silver Alert, have been located.
Robert Black and Janet Black were last seen near the intersection of Liolios Drive and Ascalon Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
The two have since been located, but additional details were not provided about when or where they were found.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
