A three-vehicle wreck on the Riverside (91) Freeway Friday snarled traffic on the busy artery and left one person with minor injuries.
The crash was reported at 3:44 p.m. Friday on the eastbound 91 near Tyler Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said that a BMW sedan, a sports sedan and a Ford pickup truck impacted in the middle of the freeway, though the specific circumstances were unclear.
Two of three lanes were obstructed by the collision, which caused the pickup to lose one of its wheels.
Riverside Fire Department crews reached the location minutes later and found one person with minor injuries, but the party did not require hospitalization, according to reports from the scene.
CHP successfully moved the damaged vehicles to the right shoulder shortly after 4 p.m., clearing the way for rush-hour traffic.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
