A 68-year-old man was reported missing Monday after being last seen in Gardena, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.
Sun Kwon Kim was last spotted around 9 a.m. near South Western Avenue and 162nd Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Kim was described as a 5-foot-10-inch tall man weighing 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing brown shoes, gray sweatpants, and a long-sleeve shirt.
Anyone with information regarding Kim’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
