The Riverside County Fire Department was battling a five-acre vegetation fire in San Jacinto Saturday.
The fire was reported around 11:45 a.m. near the intersection of State Street and Idyllwild Drive.
The Hemet City Fire Department was assisting with the fire.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
