A 14-year-old girl who was the subject of an Ebony Alert after last having been seen earlier Wednesday in South Los Angeles has been found, the California Highway Patrol announced.
There were no details provided about where Enijha Jones was found, as is customary in missing persons cases.
Enijha had been reported missing after last being seen near Washington Boulevard and Virginia Road at around 1:10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the CHP.
Ebony Alerts are issued to help locate missing Black children, teenagers, and young adults ages 12 to 25 who have disappeared under unexplained or suspicious circumstances, or who are at risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired or abducted.
