Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department battled a residential fire Sunday in an incorporated area near Gavilan Hills.
The fire was reported around 1 p.m. Sunday in the 16500 block of Multiview Drive, where responding firefighters reported a 5,000-square-foot, two-story, single-family residence with heavy smoke and flames showing from both floors and the attic.
Southern California Edison was requested to assist.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Fire crews predicted remaining on the scene for about two hours.
