A man who was injured in a conveyor belt accident in the Pico Union neighborhood was hospitalized Thursday.
Firefighters were called at 4:08 a.m. to 1664 W. Washington Blvd. west of Vermont Avenue, where they were able to free the 55-year-old victim from the conveyor belt, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said.
The extent of the victim’s injuries was not known.
I’ll look at the sexy fireman they got a picture in the paper and how they they’re going to be the new Dustin Hoffman and Matt Damon and Clint Eastwood right. Here I’m sitting over here on Wilshire boulevard and I’m watching the cops come up in it harass people put them in a handcuffs because they’re sitting on a public sidewalk trying to get them for trespassing and everything else for being on a public sidewalk in front of a restaurant or something makes no sense because they seem like they’re homeless so let’s go and fuck with them anyway right then I see a car parked on the side of the road a traffic controllers got it drive up to the car and ask the guy what he’s doing who matters what he’s doing he’s on the side of the road part. My question is what are you allowed to private to run around the streets with no control no oversight nothing at all.
