The Palm Springs Fire Department Sunday continued investigating the cause of a fire that left a total of five homes damaged in a Palm Springs mobile home park.

Fire crews responded to Ramon Mobile Home Park at 1441 E. Ramon Road around 3:20 p.m. Saturday to a report of a structure fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters found multiple mobile homes and several palm trees fully involved with fire. They successfully contained the blaze and prevented it from spreading further.

Five mobile homes sustained fire damage, and one person was treated for smoke inhalation and taken to a hospital. It was unknown how many people were displaced.
