A 63-year-old woman with apparent health complications was reported missing Monday after leaving her Perris home and not telling anyone where she was going or why.
Ana Cubias was last seen around 7 a.m. Monday in the area of June and Spring streets, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency issued a Silver Alert at the request of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, which is handling the missing person investigation. Silver Alerts are specifically designated for seniors and others considered “at-risk.”
The alert for Cubias encompasses Riverside and Los Angeles counties.
Investigators said the woman walked away from her residence and didn’t return, prompting loved ones to contact authorities. Specific details about her condition were not disclosed.
Cubias is 5-feet-1 inch in height, weighing 125 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. She was reportedly wearing a light blue sweater, blue jeans and gray shoes when she vanished.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts was asked to contact the nearest law enforcement agency.
