A 65-year-old woman who was apparently struck by a vehicle on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood was identified Thursday.
The woman’s body was reported at 9:24 p.m. Tuesday on the northbound Hollywood Freeway just north of Santa Monica Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified her as Rosa Castaneda, who sustained fatal blunt trauma.
No other information about the death was immediately available.
