A death was reported Saturday at the Veterans Home of California-West Los Angeles.
The death was reported at about 1 a.m. Saturday at 11500 Nimitz Ave., according to the California Highway Patrol, which responded to the scene.
It appeared to have been a medical emergency, a CHP spokeswoman said.
The 396-bed facility offers long-term health care from the grounds of the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration.
