Palm Springs International Airport was back to normal operations Monday, but authorities advised travelers that some airlines may continue to experience residual impacts and delays from a ground stop issued by the Federal Aviation Administration over the weekend.
“The FAA issue impacting Southern California airspace, including Palm Springs International Airport, has been resolved,” airport officials said in a statement Monday.
“PSP is now operating normally. Airlines may continue working through residual impacts and delays, and travelers should monitor flight status directly with their airline.”
The airport experienced delays and impacts from an FAA air traffic control issue affecting Southern California airspace over the weekend, including a temporary ground stop that halted departing flights.
