One person was injured in an apparent shooting on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Los Angeles Wednesday.
The shooting was reported at about 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Hoover Street and Adams Boulevard, where firefighters respond and took one person to a hospital, according to the CHP, which responded to the scene along with the Los Angeles Police Department.
A report from that scene showed a dark-colored SUV with what looked like a bullet hole in its windshield.
No further details were immediately available about the victim or that person’s condition.
