Officials at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center Friday asked for the public’s help in identifying a man who was brought to the hospital from a Sylmar mobile home park in November and whose identity has not been confirmed.
The patient, who provided the name “Pedro Garcia Alcala,” was transported to the Sylmar hospital from Blue Star Mobile Home Park at 12401 Fillmore St. at about 9:15 p.m. on Nov. 8, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.
Hospital officials said they have been unable to verify the man’s identity and are hoping someone will recognize him and help locate his family or loved ones.
The man is described as Hispanic, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 116 pounds, with brown eyes and salt-and-pepper hair with a balding top.
Anyone with information about the patient was urged to call the hospital at 747-210-3356, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m. The number to call after hours and on weekends and holidays is 747-210-4777.
