A pedestrian was struck and killed Saturday morning by a vehicle on the southbound Orange (57) Freeway in Anaheim, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 5:15 a.m. Saturday just south of Lincoln Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported. The vehicle was described as a white Nissan Sentra.
The Nos. 3, 4 and 5 lanes of the southbound freeway, just north of Lincoln Avenue, shut down at 5:31 a.m., but were re-opened at 8 a.m.
A representative from the Orange County coroner’s office was called to the scene at 5:37 a.m.
