A two-story fourplex building fire with heavy flames in Koreatown was knocked down in 19 minutes Tuesday evening, with no reported injuries.
Sixty-five firefighters were dispatched at approximately 8:06 p.m. to the 3000 block of San Marino Street, about two-tenths of a mile west of Vermont Avenue, where they defensively battled flames, exposing structures on two sides, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said that additional resources were requested.
”No fire impingement on exposed structures, search found no victims,” Lantz said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
