At least one person was killed Sunday in a crash in the community of Romoland, northeast of Menifee.
The fatal crash was reported at 7:08 p.m. Sunday at Gunther and Briggs roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness reported there was an unconscious child at the crash scene. It was unclear if the child was the fatality.
The CHP did not immediately reveal how many vehicles were involved the crash, which remained under investigation.
