At least one person was killed in a crash in Desert Center Sunday.
Officers responded to a report of a fatal crash in the westbound lanes of the Redlands (10) freeway and Red Cloud Mine Road around 9 a.m. Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It was unknown how many vehicles or people were involved.
The No. 2 lane and the on-ramp were closed for the investigation, but reopened by 12:20 p.m.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
