Overnight lane closures are scheduled next week on Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Topanga as Caltrans crews repave a section of the highway, transportation officials announced Wednesday.

The work will take place from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday on Topanga Canyon Boulevard/State Route 27 between Hillside Drive and Pacific Coast Highway, according to Caltrans.

Crews will repave the northbound lane while working south toward Pacific Coast Highway. During construction, one lane will remain open for alternating traffic controlled by flaggers, officials said.

Motorists were advised to expect delays and use alternate routes during overnight construction hours. Residents and businesses near the project also were warned to expect construction-related noise, vibrations and dust.

The work is part of Caltrans’ pavement rehabilitation project along more than 18 miles of State Route 27 from PacificCoast Highway to Devonshire Street in Chatsworth. The project also includes upgrades to curb ramps, pedestrian push buttons and bus pads. Officials said the San Fernando Valley portion has been completed, with the entire project expected to be finished by summer 2027.
