Firefighters Saturday were managing a hazardous materials incident in Wildomar.
The hazard was reported around 11:25 a.m. Saturday in the 24000 block of Magnolia Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Multiple locations reported the same hazardous materials issue, and fire crews identified the substance as mercury.
The Riverside County Hazardous Materials Team and County Environmental Health responded to the scene.
There was no ongoing threat to the surrounding community and no evacuation orders were issued.
