West Hollywood Tuesday is the unlikely home of a pack of coyotes that has taken up residence in a partially framed residential structure at the site of a stalled construction project.
Work on the four-story building at Romaine Street and Spaulding Avenue has been halted for at least three years, according to media reports.
Video posted on TikTok showed the canines on various levels of the building, sending up a cacophony of howls and yips.
It’s unclear what, if any, measures the city will take regarding the coyotes or the unfinished construction project, but in the meantime, area residents are being advised to refrain from feeding the animals and to keep a close watch on their pets.
