Authorities Sunday continued investigating a solo-vehicle rollover crash that killed a motorist in Perris.
The crash was reported around 4:10 p.m. Saturday on the northbound Escondido (215) Freeway, south of Placentia Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness told the CHP a white Jeep overturned, landing on its roof, and two people were trapped inside. It was unclear what injuries, if any, were suffered by the second person.
No identifying information was immediately available.
