Firefighters Saturday battled a small brush fire in Calimesa.
The fire was reported around 9:50 a.m. Saturday in the area of Sandalwood Drive and the eastbound Redlands (10) Freeway, according to the nonprofit wildfire-information service Watch Duty.
The fire’s forward progress was stopped around 10 a.m. at a half-acre, and no injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
