Firefighters battled a fire at a Desert Hot Springs apartment complex Sunday.
The fire was reported at 9:55 a.m. Sunday in the 66000 block of Ironwood Drive, where crews found heavy smoke coming from the second floor of the two-story building, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
It was not clear how many units were affected, but additional resources were requested to the scene.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
