Four people were killed in a traffic collision where a car careened off of a cliff in Wrightwood Friday.
Four people were killed and at least one person was injured on the Angeles Crest (2) Highway around 1:34 a.m. and transported to the hospital in the area that borders Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson said.
NBC4 LA reported that four people died and two were injured in the collision.
A CHP traffic log stated that a vehicle involved in the collision possibly hit a pole and then drove off a cliff into a meadow area.
The collision was reported to only involve one vehicle, but a CHP officer said she did not know if additional vehicles were involved.
Details on road closures or the identities of the victims were not immediately available.
