A free 10-week “mini MBA” course aimed at helping small business owners and entrepreneurs use artificial intelligence and other technologies to strengthen their businesses will begin Friday at Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert campus.
The program will run from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays through Nov. 20 at the campus, 37023 Cook St.
“Entrepreneurs today need the fundamentals of running and growing a business, but they also need to understand how technology is rapidly changing the way we compete,” Ezekiel Bonillas, associate professor of entrepreneurship at CSUSB, said in a statement. “This mini MBA brings those worlds together. We want participants to leave with practical tools they can put to work immediately while becoming better prepared to navigate AI, technology and the challenges with growing a business.”
The CSUSB Randall W. Lewis School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in partnership with the Entrepreneurial Resource Center in Palm Desert, is offering the program, which will also cover human resources, finances and “foundational thinking & sustainable success.”
