A 23-year-old man chose to suffer in silence after being shot in the upper torso in Pomona, police said today.
Ronnie Ruvalcaba was found in the 1900 block of West Orange Grove Avenue around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday with a single gunshot wound, said Pomona police Lt. Alex Rilloraza. How he came by it is a mystery, he said.
“Victim Ruvalcaba refused to co-operate or provide any information regarding the incident,” Rilloraza said.
Ruvalcaba was transported to a hospital in stable condition, Rilloraza said, adding that the shooting was believed to be gang-related.
