An 18-year-old Sun Valley man was arrested by Burbank police Wednesday on suspicion of burglary after officers responded to an alarm at a business.
Police sent to the 2800 block of North Glenoaks Boulevard about 1 a.m. in response to an alarm and a broken window arrested Chad Shillinglaw in a search of the area, Officer Joshua Kendrick said.
Shillinglaw was booked and, under questioning, admitted to additional commercial burglaries earlier Tuesday night and earlier in the week, he said. He was with a 17-year-old girl who denied any involvement in the previous burglaries. She was cited and released to her parents.
Shillinglaw also was booked on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia, Kendrick said.
