A Los Angeles Fire Department truck and a car collided Wednesday in Van Nuys, but no one was hurt.

The crash occurred about 10:35 a.m. at Sepulveda and Burbank boulevards, said LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey.

Humphrey said the fire truck was among several dispatched to handle a residential kitchen fire. The blaze was extinguished by the other firefighters.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
