A woman attacked a Metro bus driver on Wilshire Boulevard just west of downtown on Monday.
It was unclear what the dispute was over. Los Angeles police said a 64- year-old woman aboard an eastbound Metro Rapid Line 720 bus attacked the driver about 1 p.m. on Wilshire Boulevard near Oxford Street, but likely would not be arrested because there was no serious injury.

Sara Faden of the LAPD said the suspect was taken to a hospital to be treated. The woman driver was not believed to be seriously hurt.
