A smoke advisory has been issued for residents of Wilmington, San Pedro and Long Beach as a result of the fire at the Port of Los Angeles, Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department says. The warning suggests those residents avoid heavy smoke from the fire by keeping their windows closed.
