A 15-year-old female student tried to commit suicide at Glendale High School Tuesday.
Witnesses said the girl jumped from the top of an outdoor ramp as tall as two stories, injuring her ankles and knees. She was taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital, according to the Glendale News-Press. The attempt occurred about 3 p.m.
She jumped feet first, Tahnee Lightfoot of the Glendale Police Department told the Glendale News-Press.
The girl was taken to a hospital where it was determined she had no broken bones. She was recuperating with her family around her, the Glendale News-Press reported.
